Working with other members of the Momentum Team, I was responsible for upgrading the facial and body animation of an AI advisor. This involved creating bespoke motion capture and retargeting it to a Metahuman rig (the art side), as well as creating state machines and blueprinting on the Metahuman itself (the technical side). There was also some work done on the AI response workflow, which used a cloud processing solution to provide suitable blendshapes for the Metahuman’s responses.
I was also responsible for the handoff of the project to a maintenance team at Momentum – involving documenting the blueprints, sequences, and some of the facial workflow to them.
